Identification.

It is important that before ordering accessories, know which phone model it is, often the phones have similar model names.
It can distinguish eg a final digit, a letter, a year etc so it is easy to get it wrong, as it usually changes something on the phone.
Here we have listed a few different ways to show the model number on the phone.
Some android phones may use special model ID, take this number and do a search on Google.

1. See phone settings.

One way to check your phone's model name and number is to use it yourself
phone. Go to the Settings or Options menu, scroll to the bottom of the list and select “About Phone”, “About Device” or similar.
The device name and model number should be listed in the next view, eg model ID.
Some phones allow you to select "more" to view the entire list.

2. Check the phone and its packaging.

It may sound obvious, but you should be able to find something mention about the phone or its model number on the phone,
Some phones may have a small white sticker on the back.
The same sticker is also found in some older phones, usually inside the battery cover. (possibly behind a removable battery).
There may also be information on the packaging itself.
If nothing appears as a potential model name, try googling the words or numbers you can find.

3. Check your purchase receipt.

Regardless of whether you purchased the phone online, or in the store, you will normally receive an order receipt that will contain your model number.

4. Check the Bluetooth name.

Another way to get a clue to the phone's name is through Bluetooth.
Each Bluetooth device has a preset name that it uses to connect.
By connecting to another smartphone or device, you can see which device name is listed.

5. Identify your Apple phone / tablet.

On their tablets (iPads) you will find the model number on the back.

6. Older phones.

Some older phones have their model numbers printed on a sticker attached to the phone's battery compartment.
Turn off the phone, remove the back cover, and then remove the battery to see the sticker.

7. See category description

Under each category description on our site we have summarized technical data on each phone model.
Information about eg screen size, phone size, weight, release etc.
Also a picture on the front and back of the phone.

8. Droid info app (3rd party app).

And if you still have trouble finding this information on your phone, there is another solution.
There is a 3rd party app called Droid Hardware Info.
You can find the app on Google Play.
The app shows model numbers and a host of other information about the device.
